Please submit the announcement as worded below for publication in the CBD, once a week for three consecutive weeks, to give wide visibility to our need. SUGGESTED NARRATIVE: "The Defense Industrial Supply Center (DISC), which is a purchasing activity for certain hardware items for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), is seeking additional quality sources who manufacture Nut products in Federal Stock Class 5310. DISC presently has implemented a Qualified Suppliers List (QSL) Program, loosely based on ISO 9000 standards, which covers Class 3 Threaded Fasteners which we buy competitively and which may be expanded in the near future to include Class 2 items. The program requires participants to have adequate process controls in-place and routinely used for all customers, including the real time application of statistical process controls (SPC). Unlike ISO, there is no fee for you to become qualified under our program.
