Deinken, (701)747-5314 FAX (701)747-4215 Contractor shall furnish all plant, transportation, tools, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision and administration necessary to perform all work in strict accordance with plans and specifications and terms of this solicitation and resulting contract. The work to be performed includes but is not limited to removing, discarding and replacing existing diatomaceous earth filtering system and all piping noted on schematic with rapid sand filter system. Replace with thick wall PVC piping. Remove, discard and replace all pool piping valves with 1/4 turn butterfly valves. Valves must be chemical resistant and with brass neoprene seals. Remove and replace pool pump with 12Hp motor and proper rated recirculation pump. Install sewage manhole on west side of building. Intersect with existing 8" sewer main. Install 6" PVC filter drain line on new rapid sand filter system for backwashing purposes. Direct and pitch filter waste line into newly installed sewage manhole. New rapid sand filter system must have automatic and manual backwash capabilities. Install hair catcher. Install automatic pool water level system. Contractor required to dispose of all material off-base. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This action is being issued unrestricted. (0082)
