Principal features of work shall include, but are not limited to, removal of asbestos containing material and lead paint abatement, demolition and removal of walls, partitions, doors and frames, structural framing/members, floor and wall finishes, ceiling systems, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical components, and installation of new walls and partitions, patching and repair of existing floors, walls and ceilings, structural framing, new doors, frames and hardware, new floor, base, wall and ceiling finishes and systems, millwork, exterior masonry repairs, interior painting, central HVAC with exterior components, fan coil units and associated piping, gas-fired and steam to hot water generators, plumbing piping, bathroom fixtures, exhaust fans, fire alarm and smoke detector systems, electrial lighting and power, plus provisions for telephone and cable TV service. Barriers and other containment shall be provided as required to protect the facility. Site work shall include installation of underground electrical service, underground HVAC piping, and restoration of disturbed areas. This procurement is unrestricted. The SIC code is 1522. The small business size standard is $17 million. Bid due date is approximate and subject to change based upon the solicitation issue date. The estimated cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
