The size of the unit is 2.7 to 3 tons. Exterior units shall be pad mounted adjacent to the existing chiller in the back of the building. Individual circuits shall be run, in conduit and in accordance with manufacturers recommendations, from the existing power panel in the Mechanical Room to the interior units and from a contractor provided exterior panel to the exterior units. Condensate lines shall be run from each individual evaporator unit to the Mechanical Room drain. 2'x2' acoustic ceiling tile grid shall be reconfigured to facilitate the inside unit. Place and finish a new six inch thick reinforced concrete pad extension adjacent to the existing 17 ton McQuay air cooled chiller for the purpose of supporting the 4 exterior units. This is being procured under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Standard Industrial Classification is 1711. The related small business size standard is $7 million. The estimated range of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Period of performance is 45 days. Solicitation will be available approximately 14 April 1998.
