A MILITARILY CRITICAL TECHNICAL DATA AGREEMENT, DD FORM 2345, is required. The form and all applicable instructions can be obtained at the following web site: www.dlsc.dla.mil/ccal. Contractors must have the form filled out and submitted to DLSC and be certified by that organization. A solicitation package can not be forwarded to a contractor who has not been certified. A copy of the Certified DD Form 2345 is required to be submitted with any request for solicitation package. Any contractor that has requested a bid package that did not send in a certified DD Form 2345 must send one in. Please be sure to put bid number on the form. Any questions regarding the certification program should be directed to Mr. Davidson at 1-800-352-3572. This solicitation number shall be referenced on all FAXs. Further, "The Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) is being amended to require all contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) to be registered in a Central Contractor Registration Database by 31 March 1998." This registration will be a condition of award. Therefore, if a contractor is not registered in the database by 31 March 1998, he will not be eligible for award of any DOD contract.
