This synopsis is a follow-up to the market survey conducted in the Commerce Business Daily(CBD) on 2 February 98, for the requirement, which now exists for the services being provide under Contract DAAB07-95-D-C504 expiring 30 Jun 98. This acquisition is for the continuation of services, materials and facilities required to repair, overhaul, troubleshoot, upgrade, analyze and /or otherwise support subject equipment for a period of three years for the SINCGARS contracts DAAB07-78-C-O150, DAAB07-84-C-K503, DAAB07-85-C-K561, DAAB07-88-C-T041, DAAB07-91-C-G001, DAAB07-92-C-G004, DAAB07-94-C-C401, DAAB07-94-C-C403, DAAB07-95-C-C503, DAAB07-95-C-C763, DAAB07-96-C-C008, DAAB07-96-C-C501,and DAAB07-97-C-C600, developmental efforts involving the SINCGARS Advanced System Improvement Program(ASIP), System Improvement Program(SIP), Product Improved(PI), Ground and Airborne Integrated Communications(ICOM), Product Improved(PI)and System Improvement Program(SIP) Airborne and the Securable Remote Control(SRCU)Unitversions of the SINCGARS Radio Family. 2. The Government does not possess configuration control of the necessary documentation and system level drawings required to perform these highly specialized services which, if not continued, would result in delayed fielding of the radio. Subsequently, no technical data package exists to support this ecquisition. 3. Based on the above, this award will be on a sole source basis to ITT Corporation, Aerospace and Communications Division, Fort Wayne, Indiana. No other sources will be considered except for subcontracting opportunities. Only written requests will be accepted. (0084)
