A -- ARMY QUALIFICATION AND STANDARDIZATION OF ENGINE AND GEAR LUBRICANTS DUE 050898 POC Gloria McCracken (810) 574-7028 The US Army has a requirement to evaluate qualification data on candidate lubricants to ascertain whether tests were conducted in accordance with applicable test procedures/specifications and that the data represents a valid determination of the candidates' anticipated performance. There is a contract currently in place with the Society of Automotive Engineers, Warrendale, PA. The contract, issued in FY1996, was for one year, with one year options for three additional years.
