The U.S. Army CECOM intends to extend the effort under contract DAAB07-97-C-6032 with the University of Western Australia. The contractor will provide 5 additional each of the 5mm and 4mm polycarbonate full face visors and lightweight helmets for operational field evaluation. The helmets will include removable cloth sun cover that could be worn over the head-frame instead of the helmet. The contract shall also include an option for an additional 50 of the selected (4mm or 5mm) modular helmet/visors/suncover design for further evaluation. See Note 22. (0084)
