22310-3398 B -- BLUEGILL IONIZATION AND ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION EFFECTS TEST
DATA ASSESSMENTS UNDER DSWA GRAYBEARD PROGRAM POC Sheila K. Roche,
Negotiator, (703) 325-7137, Billy G. Burks, Contracting Officer, (703)
325-5021 The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) plans to issue a
sole source purchase order to Mission Research Corporation (MRC) to
plan, integrate, and coordinate the efforts of original nuclear weapon
effects test researchers (i.e., Graybeards) and leading subject area
experts in integrating, evaluating, and prioritizing atmospheric
nuclear test data from the Bluegill high-altitude test with emphasis on
nuclear radiation produced environments and EM wave propagation in
disturbed media. DSWA believes that MRC is the only responsible source.
In order to obtain the information necessary, the Graybeard program
requires individuals/companies that participated personally in nuclear
tests. MRC employs these individuals and has the experience necessary
to cost effectively perform this effort in the time required. See Note
22. Information on DSWA solicitations, already released, can be
obtained by calling the DSWA Hotline at (703) 325-1173. Acquisition
Management has added "Procurement Opportunities" to the DSWA Home Page
available on the World Wide Web. Information will include this
synopsis and more. Please check us out at www.dswa.mil. Reference
