J -- BASIC ORDERING AGREEMENT FOR AN/STC -- 2 (V) AND AN/STC -- 1 INTEGRATED VOICE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS MODIFICATIONS SOL N00024-98-R-4081 POC Cathy LaRuffa-Baldwin, Contract Specialist, 602-0204 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-98-G-4081 with L3 Communications, 1 Federal Street, Camden, NJ 08102. Orders will be issued on multiple occasions over a three year period from 30 April 1998 to 30 April 2001. Orders will be issued to receive, inspect, disassemble, and modify AN/STC -- 2 (V) and AN STC -- 1 equipment and components. Orders issued for modifications will include changing or modifying an item to conform to the current revisions of the applicable drawings and specifications which were in effect at the time the item was originally accepted. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). L3 Communications is the only firm that currently possesses the requisite knowledge and experience to provide the required effort and supplies within the required timeframe. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
