F41608-96-C-1192 in accordance with FAR 6.302 with Honeywell Inc., Military Avionics Division, 2600 Ridgeway Parkway, Minneapolis, MN 55413-1719, which will increase the contract requirements within the existing program scope. The purpose of the modification is to add to the existing number of out-of-production parts used in the current engineering services task. The purpose of the program is to update the Shop Replaceable Unit (SRU) and Test Replaceable Unit (TRU) engineering drawings for the F-15 TEWS Intermediate Support Systems (TISS), and to produce a non-proprietary reprocurement data package in response to unavailability of out-of- production parts. Honeywell's specialized equipment and expertise on the F-15 TISS make them uniquely qualified to provide these services. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available. See Note 22. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of an acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but communicates Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
