The first aircraft requirement is for 50,000 Great Circle Staute Miles with a capability of a minimum true cruise air speed of 225 knots and the ability of operating to and from gravel airfields The second aircraft requirement is for 15,000 Great Circle Statute Miles with a capability of a minimum true cruise air speed of 290 knots and will be landing on on hard surface runways of 5,000 feet.The acquisition is for a 12-month performance period beginning 1 October 1998 and includes a "not to exceed" six-month performance extension as authorized by FAR 52.217-8.
