(503) 808-4613 (Site Code DACW57) Development of seven Columbia River
Treaty Fishing Access Sites at various locations along the Columbia
River ranging from River Mile (RM) 200 up to RM 270 on both the Oregon
and Washington sides. The Government intends to award two seperate
contracts, one for the Oregon sites and one for the Washington sites.
The Oregon sites consist of the following: Celilo (Wasco County,
RM200), Rufus (Sherman County, RM213), Preacher's Eddy (Sherman County,
RM214), and Faler Road (Morrow County, RM268). The Washington sites
consist of the following: Roosevelt (Klickitat County, RM242), Pine
Creek (Klickitat County, RM250), and Alderdale (Klickitat County,
RM258). Work involves site development that includes construction of
boat ramps, boat docks, water protection works, roads, parking areas,
water wells, restroom/shower buildings, fish clearing stations,
shelters, fish drying sheds, vault toilets, sanitary facilities,
utilities, camping units, irrigation, and landscaping. Estimated cost
range for each contract is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Request
for Proposals (RFP) DACW57- 98-R-0009 will be available on or about
April 9, 1998. This solicitation will be available on CD-ROM only at no
cost of the offeror. The Contractor shall commence work within 10 days
of Notice to Proceed. This procurement is open to both large and small
business concerns. The small business size standard for which is a
concern, including all affiliates, with average annual sales or
receipts for the preceeding three years not in excess of $17,000,000.
All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered
