Specialist, 913-682-8700, extension 617 The Federal Bureau of Prisons
has a requirement for the provision of Removal and Disposal of
Bituminous Coating on the Perimeter Brick Wall at the United States
Federal Penitentiary located in Leavenworth, Kansas. Penal Institution
security requirements are applicable. The proposed contractor shall
provide labor, material, equipment and supplies needed for removal of
bituminous coating, that may contain lead and asbestos above the
regulatory limit from the perimeter wall. The Government intends to
award a Requirements Contract with a Base year and Four One Year Option
periods. The period of performance includes a Base Period from Date of
Award through (12) months. Option's one, two, three and four will be
(12) months respectively. This acquisition is a Two-Phase Design-Build
Procedure requirement in accordance with the Federal Acquisition
Regulation Subpart 36.301. Phase One Evaluation Factors shall include
Personnel Qualifications, Past Performance and Work Methods. The
contractor must comply with allLocal, State and Federal Regulation
requirements. The cost range is between $25,000.00 to $100,000.00 per
year. The anticipated issue date is on or about April 7, 1998. All
responsible sources are encouraged to submit a bid which will be
