The Office of Special Technology (OST) is surveying industry for 40mm air bursting ammunition technical information and/or hardware on existing "NDI"/Off-The-Shelf automatic grenade launcher ammunition. The purpose of this request is to determine economic feasibility of limited fielding of 40mm programmable air burst automatic grenade launcher ammunition. Factors to be considered are technical characteristics, stage of development, and availability of hardware relative to ammunition which provides an airburst capability. This is a MARKET SURVEY only. Respondees shall provide a detailed description of the grenade design including fuzing, explosive payload, flight profile data, and any other characteristics which demonstrate enhanced performance over existing U.
