D -- MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, AND COMPLETION OF YEAR 2000 CONVERSIONS FOR A SUITE OF DATA GENERAL AVIION UNIX-BASED COMPUTING SYSTEMS SOL 98HQSS1005 DUE 051598 POC Kathleen Craig (CO) 703-648-7357 Karen Staubs (Contact) 703-648-7372 The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for system maintenance, repair and completion of Year 2000 conversions for a suite of Data General Aviion UNIX-based computing systems consisting of multiple configurations of DG fileservers, Clariion disk arrays and workstations, Network Computing Device (NCD) x-terminals, and printers for more than 100 locations throughout the United States including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Maintenance shall include several options including: monthly preventive and repair services, on-call repair services as needed, depot parts delivery, contractor's site depot repair and occasional temporary on-site technician. Completion of Year 2000 conversions shall be a high priority. The contract shall be for one year with two additional option years.
