This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 17(ii) Solicitation number is DAKF29-98-0024 and is issued as a Invitation For Bid (IFB). 17(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisiton Circular 97-03. 17(iv) This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 7359 and Small Business Size Standard is $5,000,000.00. 17 (v) (vi) (vii) The Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS) are 0001- Contractor shall provide shower and laundry facilities for rental to include eight (8) shower stalls, twelve (12) sinks with mirrors for men and four (4) shower stalls and two (2) sinks with mirrors for women from 5 May 1998 to18 June 1998. 0002- Provide potable water (hot and cold) and grey water disposal adequate to maintain laundry and bath and support kitchen. 17 (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, with addenda: delete paragraphs (d),) Items, with addenda: (g), (h), and (i). The basis of award will be low, responsive, responsible bidder. Bidders are requested to submit bids which shall include the unit price and total amount for each CLIN listed above. 17(x) Bidders shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items, with bids. 17(xi) The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition with addenda: paragraphs (h), (n), (o) and (p) of this provision do not apply.
