V -- COMMERCIAL TRAVEL OFFICE SERVICE (LEISURE) SOL n/a POC Thomas A Blazewicz, Contract Specialist (407) 494-9971/Robert O Stuart, Contracting Officer (407) 494-3934 A market survey is being conducted to identify firms to provide Commercial Travel Office (CTO) services for Unofficial/Leisure Travel at Patrick AFB and Cape Canaveral Air Station FL. (Official Travel services will be handled under a separate announcement). Offerors will propose an air travel discount percentage for unofficial travel. Unofficial travel is defined as leave, furlough, vacation, and leisure travel paid for from personal funds of the traveler for personal use. Potential sources must be aware that approximately $600,000 of working capital will be needed to carry government accounts receivable while maintaining an adequate ticket stock supply to provide uninterrupted service. A concessionaire type contract is contemplated with a one-year basic contract period and three (6) month options. Security clearances are not required. The applicable SIC code and size standard are 4624/$1M. Firms responding to this synopsis should provide experience in the form of an outline of previous projects for specific relevant work completed or currently being performed including contract numbers, description of the work, points of contact, and phone numbers; professional qualifications and specific experience of personnel identified to perform the work; and any other pertinent information which would enable the government to assess your firm's capabilities. Firms must respond to this announcement within 15 days from the date of publication and (1) state whether they are a small or large business based on the size standard above, and (2) indicate if a small disadvantaged or woman-owned business, 8(a) firm, or a historically black college or university or minority institution (HBCU/MI). The government reserves the right to set this acquisition aside for small businesses, 8(a) firms, or HBCUs/MIs based on the responses received.
