Z-GROUNDS MAINTENANCE -- The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision and materials necessary to provide the grounds maintenance services in accordance with the requirements specified herein. The services to be provided include cutting and edging of turf grass; plant, tree and turf fertilization; vegetation cutting and removal; underbrushing; sodding; mulching; erosion control; tree and shrub pruning; tree and stump removal; ditch cleaning; collection and disposal of yard waste and debris; inspection, maintenance, and operation of the existing irrigation system; certified pesticide application as necessary to control ornamental and turf insects and weeds; and other miscellaneous services. This contract is being issued as a firm-fixed price with indefinite quantity. This solicitation is for a base period of one (1) year with four (4) one-year options for a total of 60 months.. The applicable Standard Classification Code is 0782, "GROUNDS MAINTENANCE". The applicable Small Business Size Standard is receipts for the preceding three (3) years that do not exceed $5 million per year. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for Small Business. No collect calls will be accepted. All technical questions must be in writing at least 15 days prior to bid opening and can be faxed (407) 381-8828. The solicitation package will be available on 13 April 1998. All request for solicitation should be in writing, and there is a NON-REFUNDABLE $9.57 fee for each solicitation package. The company check or bank cashiers check will be made payable to "US Treasury", and forwarded to Defense Automated Printing Service, Patrick Air Force Base, Bldg 318, 568 Lift Avenue, Patrick Air Force Base, Florida 32925.
