DESC: Tool Kits Request for Quotation F62509-98-Q-0128 will be issued for vendors interested in supplying Air Craft Maintenance Tool Kits: This procurement is full and open competition if FSS is not available. Estimated quantity is 2160 EA. The descriptions are in accordance with Brand Name or equal description. Anticipated purchase order will be fixed price with commercial items clauses and includes following special requirements. 1) Warranty Period: Life-Time Warranty, 2) Contractor must meet propulsion flight's required turnaround time of 2 (Two) weeks, approximately ten duty days, for broken tool replacement. 3) Free laser etching for all tools. All tools (Item 0001 thru item 0243) are separated into 4 (Four) groups as following: "ACC", "SUPT", "JEIM" and "TEST". "JEIM" group requires 5 (Five) tool kits and etching as "EPJ-01", "EPJ-02", "EPJ-03", "EPJ-04" and "EPJ-05". "ACC" group requires 2 (Two) tool kits and etching as "EPJ-06" and "EPJ-07". "SUPT" group requires 1 (One) tool kit and etching as "EPJ-08". "TEST" group requires 2 (Two) tool kits and etching as "EPT-04" and "EPT-08". Note: Use one inch block letters (Half inch lettering may be used on small tool kits).
