Synopsis/Solicitation Notice, is amended to include the following
information in the description: The sentence "Three fixed based control
pads will be provided, one to be located in Base Operations, one in the
west tower, and one in the east tower." is changed to read, "Three
fixed based control pads will be provided, one to be located in Base
Operations on the first floor of the building, (height is 41' -- 6"
from ground to top of Bldg.and 44' -- 0" to top of guy line pole), one
in the west tower, located on the third floor of the building (height
is 39' -- 0" from ground to top of building), and one located in the
east tower (height is 95' -- 0" from ground to top of tower) After the
sentence " All bird deterrent units will be stand-alone units, and
will be provided in sufficient quantity to adequately deter bird
populations in the runway environments at Randolph AFB.", this
information must be included, "The following bird species exist at
Randolph AFB: American Crow, American Kestral, Barn Swallow, Blue Jay,
Boat-Tailed Grackle, Great-Tailed Grackle, Broad-Winged Hawk,
Brown-Headed Cowbird Cattle Egret, Common Grackle, Double-Crested
Cormorant, Eastern Meadowlark, European Starling, Great Blue Heron,
Great Egret, House or English Sparrow, House Finch, Killdeer,
Mississippi Kite, Mexican Free-Tailed Bat, Mockingbirds, Morning Dove,
North American Black Vulture, North American Turkey Vulture,
Red-Tailed Hawk, Ring-Billed Gull, Rock Dove, Domestic Pigeon, Sandhill
Crane, Scissors-Tailed Flycatcher, Western Kingbird, Western
