95 -- ALUMINUM CASTINGS SOL N00253-98-R-0003 DUE 051598 POC Victor Angkico (360) 396-5671 The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Keyport intends to solicit for aluminum castings for the MK45 Mod 2 truck, handlift. The castings shall be in accordance with the following: Bureau of Naval Weapons drawing 1804597 (jack support bracket), 80 each; NAVORD drawing 2643129 (grip, handle), 160 each; NAVORD drawing 2643612 (housing, swivel), 80 each; NAVORD drawing 2643614 (housing chain, casting & machining), 80 each; NAVORD drawing 2643611 (tee handle), 80 each; Bureau of Naval Weapons drawing 1804612 (cover, chain housing), 80 each; NAVORD drawing 2643564 (steering, knuckle, and brake housing), 160 each. The above quantities includes 1 each, first article for each casting. Pricing will be required for the tooling manufactured to produce the castings. Mil-I-45208A shall be required. Delivery of the first articles will be required within 90 days after contract award, with delivery of the production units 60 days after approval of first articles. Tooling shall be delivered with the production units. This acquisition will be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which, if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. The RFP will be issued on or about 15 April 98 with a 30 day closing.
