The INS intends to award a Purchase Order on a sole source basis to The A Consulting Team, (TACT), 200 Park Ave S./Suite 901, New York, NY 10003 to provide the Year 2000 (Y2K) database changes, testing and data exchange bridge requirements. TACT will provide Y2K database tools that function in a Computer Associates, IDMS/ADSO environment running under the OS/390 operating system. INS has selected TACT for its unique capability to provide a total set of Y2K database modification and test tools that include: DB-EZREORG/DB-EZTEST 2000/DB-EZBRIDGE; DB-EZTEST 2000 PHYSICAL DATA AGING; AND DB-EZTEST 2000 SEQUENTIAL/VSAM PHYSICAL DATA AGING. This procurement is being awarded as a simplified acquisition in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. No solicitation will be issued.
