Support Center, Program Support Center. The Department of Health and
Human Services (HHS), Program Support Center (PSC), Work and Family
Program (WFP) has a requirement for one full-time Work and Family
Program Specialist for one-year, with two 1-year option periods. The
Contractor will work on-site at 330 C Street SW, Washington, DC. The
WFP provides services to approximately 3500 HHS employees located in
five buildings in Southwest, and to employees Department wide by phone
and electronic mail. Duties will include: planing employee
education/outreach programs with the WFP Coordinator; maintaining and
developing the resource library; providing information, referral and
advisement to employees requesting information about and/or assistance
in managing work/family-related issues; providing staff briefings;
distributing program information; developing and implementing WFP
outreach and marketing activities; assisting in the development and
maintenance of a program website including updating WFP information and
creating links to work and family related websites; participating on
Department wide Work/Life Advisory Board; and assisting in ongoing
program evaluation and development of new WFP program and activities.
The Specialist must have at a minimum a Bachelor's Degree, though a
Master's Degree is preferable, and three years experience in
Work/Family/Life or related field. An oral presentation will be
required of those determined to have met the minimum criteria set forth
in the solicitation. Award may be made without discussions. Only
