Y -- TWO COMPANY SATELLITE FIRE STATION, FORT SILL, OKLAHOMA SOL DACA56-98-B-0017 DUE 051498 POC Randy Bratcher, Contracting Division, 918-669-7270 Construct new single story two company fire station of about 5,600 SF consisting of apparatus bays, bunk rooms, exercise room, kitchen, day room, showers, mechanical room, and restrooms. Foundation will be continuous strip footings and spot footings tied to a concrete slab over select fill. The superstructure will be conventional steel framing with steel roof trusses and open web steel joists. The exterior walls will be CMU with exterior insulation finish system. Roof will be structural standing seam metal roof. HVAC will consist of split-system gas furnace and DX cooling systems with gas-fired unit heaters used in the apparatus bay. There will be three zones. Supporting facilities include electrical service, fire protection system, paving, walks, curb and gutters, parking, storm drainage and landscaping. Estimated cost range of this project is $1 million to $5 million. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 14 April 1998, and will be provided on Compact Disks (CD-ROM) free of charge. It has been determined that the number of Compact Disks will be limited to one (1) per firm. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a printed hard copy format.
