The principal features of this project shall include but not be limited to asphalt concrete pavement maintenance (cold-planing, resurfacing and seal coating), repair (with new base course, base course scarification or asphalt treated base), restriping (stripes, arrows, words, symbols, and reflective and nonreflective markers), and associated work (adjustments to manhole/valve box frames and covers, installation of geotextile material, survey street monuments and concrete parking bumper blocks, and relocation of traffic signs. This solicitation is for one basic year and four option years, and will be issued on/or about 27 April 1998 in compliance with Public Law 100-656, Business Opportunity Development Program Act of 1988, establishing a test of unrestricted competition. The estimated cost of $5,000,000.00 per year.
