Work includes gutting the interior, removing many interior walls and converting much of the area to open office space, upgrading the HVAC system, construction of interior walls, refinishing the interior, procuring and installing pre-wired workstations and venetian blinds, and miscellaneous millwork. Minor exterior work including sealing the existing parking lot, repainting railings, refinishing concrete columns and beams, and replacing damaged bricks will also be required. Various interior finishes will be used including paint, vinyl wall covering, VCT, carpet, polished metal linear ceiling tiles. HVAC will utilize single zone air handling units in conjunction with variable air volume boxes. Replacement of existing steam boilers, chillers, cooling tower, and associated equipment will also be included. Estimated cost range of this project is $10 million to $25 million. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 14 April 1998. Plans and specifications will be provided in a printed hard copy format. An advanced non-refundable fee of $100 (reduced size) and $300 (full size) is required for each set of specifications. Plans and specifications will not be available on CD Rom.
