602-7707. The Program Executive Officer for Undersea Warfare
(PEO(USW)), (PMS415), and the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intend
to conduct an Industry Brief on 14 April 1998 for companies with
current undersea sonar and torpedo countermeasure capabilities for the
manufacture of 16 centimeter (6.25 inch) externally launched devices.
The purpose of the briefing is to solicit industry comments on a
proposed combined procurement of ADC MK 3 and ADC MK 4 devices to
promote commonality among the two devices and encourage a continuously
operating 6.25 inch countermeasure production line. The briefing will
be at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Indiana. Requests for
attendance shall be addressed to NAVSEA 02612M or faxed to (703)
602-7023 c/o Joann Vitek Code 02612M. The request shall include: 1)
company facility clearance and CAGE information, 2) the proposed number
of attendees. Due to space limitations, the Government reserves the
right to limit the number of attendees per company. Briefing attendees
must have a SECRET or higher clearance on file at NSWC, Crane IN to
attend. Request for security clearance and a copy of the request for
attendance shall be sent to NSWC Crane Visitor Control Center via fax
(812) 854-1938, and a hard copy shall be addressed to "Commander, Naval
Surface Warfare Center, Security 0621 (B. Summers), Visitor Control
Center, Crane IN, 47562-5001 ." The NSWC Visitor Control POC is B.
Summers, (812) 854-1213/4521. The security clearance information shall
include: Company name and address, Individual Name, Social Security
Number, Place of Birth, Date of Birth, Level of Clearance and
citizenship. Requests for attendance and security clearance must be
received by NAVSEA and NSWC, Crane by April 9, 1998. Detailed
