The Navy requires one Waterjet Cutting System (WCS) capable of cutting plastic foams, solid plastics and plywood in the fabrication of packaging. The WCS shall be manufactured in accordance with an NSWC Crane performance specification and shall include a computerized numerical control (CNC) unit and programming station. The programming station shall have a minimum 192 Kb file memory. A support table shall be provided to accommodate a part size 6 inches larger in each direction than the full "X" and "Y" cutting travel specified. The WCS shall have five independent axes. The required part size is a minimum 72" x 96" x 24". The WCS shall be fitted with a meter(s) to measure operating time of the intensifier pump assembly. Shipment shall be made FOB NSWC, Crane, IN within 90 days after contract award, with final inspection and acceptance at destination. The procurement will be structured for a greatest value award, considering price and past performance. FAR Part 12 procedures will be used.
