(907) 384-7112. (Site Code DAPC49) Collect hazardous material samples,
analyze and furnish written laboratory reports, on an "as required"
basis. The samples (solids, liquid, and sludge phases) will be taken
from various types of containers (confined space entry may be required)
at Forts Richardson, Wainwright, and Greely, Alaska, in accordance with
the most current Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Test Methods for
Evaluating Solid Waste Physical/Chemical methods (SW-846) and/or Alaska
Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) directed test methods.
Sources of the samples vary, and include, but are not limited to
drums, cartons, underground storage tanks, oil/water separators,
above-ground tanks, soil or debris piles, or any source requiring
analysis for the tests included in the solicitation. The requirement is
for a one-year base period, and four (4) consecutive one-year option
periods that the Government may exercise. The contract will include the
"Option to Extend Services" clause which permits the Government to
extend services for up to six (6) additional months within the limits
and at the rates specified in the contract. This is a Competitive Small
Business Administration 8(a) Program acquisition. See Numbered Note 4.
