CUSTOMS SERVICE is issuing a DRAFT STATEMENT OF WORK, PROPOSAL PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS, EVALUATION FACTORS, THE AWARD FEE CLAUSE, and a COPY OF PROPOSED FORMAT FOR SECTION B for the National Aircraft Maintenance, Total Logistics, and EDP Support Services contract with responses due by 2:00 PM on April 20, 1998 (fax responses are acceptable at (202) 927-0518). The requirements are to provide program management, aircraft maintenance, total logistics, supply and Electronic Data Processing (EDP) support necessary to ensure that Customs has the numbers, types and properly configured aircraft available where and when required to meet all Customs aviation operational commitments. Customs has approximately 126 operational aircraft which are assigned to approximately 20 different sites. The period of performance will start on or about August 1, 1999 (for phase-in) with full performance starting October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000 with the Government having the right to unilaterally exercise nine (9) one year options.
