to, the following Minimum Items: (1) Hull Frame Repair. (2) 65' WYTL
Watertight Hatch Replacement. (3) Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall
Propeller Shaft. (4) Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Propeller. (5)
Clean and Test Main Diesel Engine Grid Cooler. (6) Relocate Grid
Coolers for both Ship Service Diesel Generators. (7) Remove and
Reinstall the V850 Transducer and Preserve the Transducer Hull Ring.
(8) Renew and Test Valves. (9) Renew Potable Water Piping and Drain
Line. (10) Clean and Inspect Diesel Fuel Tanks. (11) Remove, Inspect,
and Reinstall Rudder. (12) Renew Handrails and Stantions. (13) Preserve
Bilge Area in Main Hold. (14) Preserve Main Desk. (15) Clean and
Inspect Sewage and Grey Water Collection and Holding Tanks. (16)
Preserve Potable Water Tanks. (17) Renew Deck Coverings. (18) Provide

vessel's home pier is Boston, MA. Vessel is 65 Foot "B" Class Harbor
Tug. Vessel's availability schedule is 20 July 1998 for 35 calendar
days. The place of performance for this vessel is geographically
restricted from Port Clyde, ME to the north and the Rhode
Island/Connecticut border to the south. There will be a non-refundable
charge of $100.00 required in the form of a certified check or money
order payable to the U. S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All
other referenced documents are available for viewing at 300 East Main
Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. The proposed contract listed here is a
part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
Plans an specifications will be issued on or after 22 April 1998. All
responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the
