R -- The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) intends to solicit proposals for a contractor to provide nationwide service with uniform arrangements and charges for searches at established credit bureaus. Service must have access to the three major credit bureau systems: Equifax, Trans Union, and Experian. Must have access to a database with the capacity to store and maintain all relevant credit information on the subject report for a minimum seven year period prior to the date of the request. Period of service will be for one year from date of award with 4 additional option periods. A fixed-price requirements contract with task orders is anticipated. This solicitation has not been set-aside. Th solicitation is scheduled for release on or about April 10, 1998. Requests for solicitation packages must be in writing.
