R -- CADASTRAL SURVEY SOL R9-9-98-2 DUE 051498 POC MN Shared Service Contracting Unit, 218-626-4364 The project consists of professional services to conduct Cadastral Survey. Services are within the Chippewa National Forest located in North Central Minnesota. Work to be performed to Forest Service standards include: corner searches, monumentation or maintenance and geodetic coordinate establishment; boundary line surveyed and marked or maintained; to prepare and record the appropriate Corner Certificates and Certificates of Survey. To be considered, submit an SF-254 (Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire), an SF-255 (Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for Specific Project), and a minimum of 4 exhibits (Corner Certificates and Certificates of Survey) which demonstrate the work of the principal surveyor identified to do the work. The following factors will be evaluated in a descending order of importance: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence of the proposed personnel in the type of work required; (3) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; (4) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (5) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with the performance schedules. All data, including SF-254 and SF-255, must be submitted by May 14, 1998, at 2:00 p.m. local time, to the address below, in order to be considered for this project. The project will begin in 1998 and will have a completion date of 180 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed.
