Subject to final approval, Bureau of the Public Debt intends to acquire, on a sole-source basis, through Bell Atlantic Federal Systems, 1710 H Street, NW, Ninth Floor, Washington, DC 20006, local telephone service for and between four Public Debt locations in Parkersburg, WV and two locations in Washington, DC. This service includes all the following: 4W Data (3000 Series Channel); Alarm Circuit (DC Continuity); Direct Inward Dial (DID) Thrifty Community Plus; 56kbps Digital Data Service; DID Trunks; DOD Trunks (Community Package); T1 Lines; T3 lines; Centrex lines; POP(Point of Presence) Extensions; Commercial Lines; Foreign Exchange Line (FX); Half Duplex 1150; Full Duplex Circuit; ISDN PBRI Arrangements; plus options for the following services: Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM); Frame Relay; Synchronous Optical Network (SONET); High-bit-rate Digital Subscriber Line (HDSL); and Fiber Optic Line. All affirmative responses must be in writing and must be accompanied by sufficient documentation to clearlyshow compliance to all the above requirements. If no affirmative written response is received, within 15 calendar days after publication of this notice, to the effect that comparable services are available, and that it is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining this item through the current contractor, a sole-source award will be made.
