S -- SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT TO SORT THROUGH SOLID WASTE REFUSE GENERATED FROM NAVAL SUBMARINE BASE BANGOR SOL DAKF57-98-R-0006 DUE 040198 POC Contract Specialist Shauna Hull 253-967-2151 ext 210 (Site Code DAKF57) The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Lewis, Washington intends to negotiate a sole source contract with the Directorate of Personnel and Community Activities (DPCA), Fort Lewis, Washington to manage and perform all operations for sorting through all solid waste refuse generated from the installation known as Naval Submarine Base Bangor. This shall consist of removing all recyclable materials and materials unsuitable for incineration, and loading the sorted waste onto either a trailer for disposal at the Fort Lewis incinerator or disposal at the Fort Lewis landfill transfer station. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals; however, requests received within 30 calendar days after the date this synopsis is published will be considered by the Government. (0089)
