Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract for the materials, as well as, management, operational maintenance, supply services and management of off-site vendor repair functions necessary to provide the organizational and intermediate level logistic support for the T-45 Training System (T45TS) at Naval Air Station, Kingsville, TX, Naval Air Station, Meridian, Mississippi, and Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, MD. This program includes conducting a T-45A aircraft retrofit program and a T-45 aircraft development test program. The contract will include a base year and four (4) one year options. The Navy anticipates this maintenance program to support approximately 100 aircraft and approximately 70,000 flight hours per year. The Navy will conduct an industry brief and site visit at Naval Air Station (NAS) Kingsville, TX on 6 May 1998.
