J -- REBUILD PUMP SYSTEM FOR DEEP WATER WELL AT MCGUIRE AIR FORCE BASE, NJ SOL F28609-98-Q-C191 DUE 042898 POC Ms Monica Heltz 609-724-2651 or Ms Doris Hatfield 609-724-2074 Repairs for deep water well approximately 960 feet deep. Work includes inspection of 100 hp electric motor and rebuild of pump system (currently dismantled). Inspection of 35 lengths (350 foot total) of 8 inch column pipe; new shafting, bearings, bearing retainers, couplings, and all parts required for complete pump system configured at OEM specifications. Initial investigation of this pump identified a broken shaft on the last ten foot section. Issue dtae will be on or about 14 April 1998. Faxed requests will be accepted at 609-724-3880. A site visit will be conducted on 21 April 1998 at 0900 hours. Interested parties must contact the contracting office prior to this date. A video will be shown prior to the site visit of the outer well casing. IT IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED THAT ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS ATTEND.
