In no case will contract time for each project exceed 365 calendar days and no allowance will be made for winter shutdown. Firms qualified and interested in providing professional surveying services of the type listed above are hereby invited to submit Standard Form 254, Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire and Standard Form 255, Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for Specific Project and Specific Criteria stated below. The evaluation criteria set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulations 36.602-1 will be used in conjunction with the following specialized selection criteria to assess your firms qualifications for cadastral surveying projects; briefly address the following in narrative form: Criteria (6) add: a. Describe the procedures you have used to complete previous cadastral surveys. b. Discuss your experience in the past five years specifically related to cadastral surveys similar to those which might be encountered on a Forest Service project. (i.e. Public Land Surveys, Homestead Entry Surveys, Mineral surveys). c. Discuss the approach you have used on previous surveys to resolve problems resulting from conflicting evidence. 4G36.602-1 (1) The volume of work previously awarded by the Forest Service will be evaluated with the objective of effecting an equitable distribution of the contracts among qualified A&E firms, including minority, 8(a), or small disadvantaged firms that have not had prior Forest Service contract. (2) As prescribed in 4G15.605(f) additional points may be assigned or credit given to potential contractors that are or will subcontract with certified 8(a) or other small disadvantaged businesses.
