The waste removal services (the transporting of the regulated medical waste) and the treatment, storage and disposal facility must have all applicable permits and licenses and comply with all applicable EPA guidelines, CT Department of Environmental Protection Agency guidelines, federal and state DOT guidelines and all other applicable federal and state guidelines. Contractor's system shall use puncture resistant, leak proof containers for the collection and transport of the medical waste. The performance period will be for one year from date of award. Solicitation package will include two (2) additional option year periods. Proposals are due on or about May 7, 1998.
