The Government intends to negotiate an indefinite delivery/requirements type contract with firm fixed price provisions for Respiratory Protection Program Management as required by the Naval Occupational Safety and Health, and Environmental Training Center, Norfolk, VA. The resulting contract will be for the base period of 01 October 1998 through 30 September 1999 with 4 option years. This is a 100% small business set-aside. SIC is 8299. Part I. In order to streamline the acquisition process, all responsible sources must submit resumes and past performance data to the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center by 2:00 PM on 27 April 1998. The RFP will be issued approximately 14 April 1998. If resumes are determined to be unacceptable by the technical evaluation committee, offeror will not be given the opportunity to correct the resumes. Only those offerors whose resumes are determined to be acceptable will continue to Part II-Evaluation for Award. Part II consists of the technical proposal which will be an oral presentation; the price proposal; and past performance evaluation. The RFP will close on 30 May 1998. Requests for the solicitation must state that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency.
