R6-5-98-07-M ($25,000 to $90,000) and RFP R6-5-98-09-M ($90,000 to $1,000,000) This solicitation is to secure road construction/reconstruction/decommissioning serivces for the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. This will result in a multiple award, requirement type contract for a period of 5 years. Individual task orders will be placed against the contract. Work includes but is not limited to: staking and associated surveying, clearing and grubbing, excavation, embankment, installation and removal of culverts, riprap head walls and outlet aprons, construction of a reinforced soil embankment utilizing geogrid material and select backfill, drilling and shooting, furnishing and placement of crushed aggregate and hot bituminous plant mix, seeding and fertilizing. Contractors will be asked to give prices on a "sample project". We intend to have two groups of awardees, $90,000 and over (payment protection required) on RFP R6-5-98-07-M and $90,000 and over (fully bonded) RFP R6-5-98-09-M.
