Z -- REPLACE OUTDATED PROGRAMMERS WITH HONEYWELL BC 7000 PROGRAMMERS, BLDG 2210, MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS BASE, ALBANY, GEORGIA SOL N62467-98-Q-3413 DUE 050598 POC Ms. Patty Morgans, Contract Specialist, (912)439-5603 Ext. 15/FAX (912)439-5999 This is a simplified acquisition to provide all labor, materials and equipment to REPLACE OUTDATED PROGRAMMERS WITH HONEYWELL BC 7000 PROGRAMMERS, BLDG 2210, MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS BASE, ALBANY, GEORGIA. The work includes the replacement of outdated fireye programmers with Honeywell BC 7000 Programmers on all three (3) Cleaver Brooks boilers model No. D-42L.H, and removal of all unnecessary controls, wiring and Hays Republic Control cabinet in Bldg 2210. Functions provided by the BC 7000 "Blue Chip" Burner Control System shall include: automatic burner sequencing, flame supervision, status indication, first-out annunciation, self-diagnostics, and energy conservation. Self-check provision shall continuously monitor system performance to ensure proper operation. The magnitude for this solicitation is between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated duration of the contract is 95 days for completion. Requests for solicitation packages must be submitted in writing, either by mail or fax and must contain the solicitation number. A site visit is scheduled for 28 APRIL 1998 at 1:30 PM. Prospective quoters are asked to meet at Bldg 5500. Quotes must be recevied by close of business on 5 MAY 1998. This acquisition is solicited on an UNRESTRICTED basis. Subsequent award will be made pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Test Program. SIC 1799/$7.0 Million. Award will be made to the offeror providing the best value to the Government. In determining best value, quotations will be evaluated based upon price and past performance. Past performance will encompass such factors as (1) Quality, (2) Timely Performance, and (3) Effectiveness of Management. Offerors must submit, WITH THEIR QUOTE, data (1 copy) showing that they have successfully installed similar systems. The data shall include the names and locations of at least two installations where the Contractor has installed such systems. Indicate the type and design of these systems and provide written certification from the USER that these systems have performed satisfactorily in the manner intended for a period of not less than 18 months.
