FISC San Diego is announcing its intent to issue a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Quotes are being requested with this announcement. The solicitation number is N00244-98-Q-0208. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-47 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-11. The standard industrial code is 3448 and the business size standard is 500 employees. The agency need is for six (6) each mobile facility boxes to be used as mobile office and storage facilities. Clin 0001 is for one (1) each 8' X 8' 6" X 20' 14 gauge steel mobile facility box with one (1) each side roll-up door, AC electrical package, 1.5" no textured dry-wall, shelving on three sides, painted light gray inside and out, andfork lift pockets (box must have ability to be moved by a forklift or crane). Box must also have electrical power, overhead lighting, and six outlet power strips on each side. The roll door will need to be 7' X 7' in dimension. Clin 0002 is for one (1) each 8' X 8' 6" X 20' 14 gauge steel mobile facility box with a personnel door, AC electrical package, 1.5" insulation no textured drywall, shelving and brackets on three sides, painted light gray inside and out, and forklift pockets (box must have ability to be moved by a forklift or crane). Box must also have electrical power, overhead lighting, and six outlet power strips on each side. Clin 0003 is for three (3) each 8' X 8' 6" X 20' 14 gauge steel mobile facility box with one (1) each side roll-up door for each box, electrical package, 1.5" no textured dry-wall, shelving on three sides, painted light gray inside and out, and fork lift pockets (box must have ability to be moved by a forklift or crane). . The roll doors will need to be 7' X 7' in dimension. Boxes must also have electrical power, overhead lighting, and six outlet power strips on each side. Clin 0004 is for one (1) each 8' X 8' 6" X 20' 14 gauge steel mobile facility box with a personnel door, AC electrical package, 1.5" insulation no textured drywall, shelving and brackets on three sides, painted light gray inside and out, and forklift pockets (box must have ability to be moved by a forklift or crane). Express warranties shall be included in the contract.
