59 -- S-BAND ANTENNAS SOL N68936-98-R-0115 POC Erin Strand, Contract Specialist, (760) 939-7309 The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons (NAWCWPNS) Division, China Lake, CA, intends to procure S-band antennas in support of telemetry systems for the Sidewinder missile project training rounds. The contract will be awarded on a competitive basis as a small business set aside (SIC Code 3663, Number of Employees: 750), using a firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity type contract. A minimum of 90 units and a maximum of 250 units will be ordered over a 5-year period of performance. The antennas must meet the required form, fit, and function requirements of specification AS-6165 and Drawing 639AS9493 for a pre-existing missile telemetry fabrication package, operating into a nominal 50-ohm load on a specified frequency in the ultra-high frequency (UHF) telemetry band from 2200.5 to 2260.5 MHz. The antenna VSWR at the unconnected end of the cable shall be 1:5 to 1 maximum across the frequency band specified. Delivery will be FOB Destination to NAWCWPNS, China Lake, CA. Four first article test units will be due 120 days after the effective date of the contract. The first order of 90 production units will be delivered beginning 90 days after acceptance of the first article test units, at a delivery rate of 20 units per month.
