Kiely, Contracting Officer, 202/435-6940, fax number 202/435-7138 The U.S. Secret Service has a requirement for dry cleaning/laundering services for Uniform Division Officer's clothing and miscellaneous items. These services included pick-up and delivery of garments at nine (9) locations in the Washington, DC area and Laurel, Maryland. The proposed solicitation will result in a firm-fixed price requirements contract for a base year of 12 months commencing October 1, 1998 and the option for two (2) option periods of 12-months. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) code is 7219 and the small business standard is $5.0 million. The solicitation will be released on or about April 27, 1998. All requests for the solictitation document must be submitted in writing and all parties must state their business size. Telephone or telefaxed requests will not be accepted.
