Prospective contractor to construct temporary access road to river; furnish and install monitoring and alarm system and monitor bridge movement during construction; remove and dispose of displaced concrete pier footing block; remove and dispose of debris around pier footing; map and photography foundation; level foundation prior to erecting forms; erect concrete forms for new concrete footing block to concrete placement; during placement of concrete, maintain water level with forms at least three feet below top edge of forms; place rock anchors and reinforce, if additive no. 2 is included in the contract; place concrete for new pier footing block; set and anchor forms to confine backfill grout; backfill grouting to fill voids in, below, and between existing concrete footing blocks; and repair cracks in existing pier walls. The work is situated on the North Fork American River approximately 2 miles east of Auburn, California. The North Fork American River forms the boundry between El Dorado County to the East and Placer County to the West. Technical Proposals will be required and will be evaluated in addition to price. The SIC Code for this acquisition is 1629. Award will be made pursuant to the "Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program." This is not a small business set-aside. Prospective contractors do not have to be a small business. This is a Full and Open Competition. The price range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.
