The procedure is unrestricted. The work includes the removal of existing fluorescent lighting fixtures and the installation of new metal halide lighting fixtures, including all associated low voltage switches, conduit, wiring, "softwired" relay contactor panel, and all other incidental related work. Please note that the existing lamps and ballasts shall be taken out of the fixtures being removed and packaged by the contractor for government recycling, as indicated on the plans and specifications. The quote will be issued April 18, 1998. The quote will be opened on May 18, 1998. The SIC Code is 1731; Small Business Size Standard is $7 million. The estimated cost range of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. There is a NON-REFUNDABLE CHARGE for plans and specifications. Offerors interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this project must submit their request along with a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, Money Order or VISA in the amount of $29.00 to Defense Automated Printing Service (DAPS), 47 Chandler St., Newport, RI 02841-1707.
