Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials and transportation to Upgrade Base Infrastructure Systems, Buckley ANG Base, Aurora, Colorado, Project Number CRWU909853. Project shall consist of construction of upgrading the primary base infrastructure systems to include roadways, electrical, domestic water, fire suppression system, sanitary sewers, storm drainage, street lighting, sidewalk and supporting systems. Upgrade the security guardhouse, and construct a pass and identification facility. For informational purposes only, the applicable Standard Industry Codes (SICS) are 1611 and 1623. There will be a base bid plus seven (7) bid additives, which may or may not be awarded depending on funds availability. The approximate bid opening date is 21 July 1998. The estimated construction period is 547 calendar days with estimated construction completion of 1 March 2000 . The estimated cost range is more than $10,000,000. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price contract will be awarded asa result of this solicitation. Solicitations will be available approximately 17 June 1998. The solicitation package will be limited to one set per bidder and will be issued on a first come first serve basis until supply is exhausted. Requests for bid documents must be in writing and accompanied by a non-refundable check for $177.60 for a specification copy with full-size plans or $96.40 for a specification copy with half-size plans. Make checks payable to U.S. Department of Treasury. Telephone requests will not be accepted. The potential bidder shall provide a street address and not a post office box. Copies of this solicitation will be distributed to various Plans Rooms throughout Colorado. The site visit will be announced in a future notice. The place of performance is Buckley ANG Base, Aurora, Colorado. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED; however, woman-owned, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDBs) are encouraged to participate. An evaluation preference for SBD concerns may be applied. A subcontracting plan is required if the bidder is a large business concern. (0091)
