22310-3398 A -- INTEGRATED TARGET PLANNING TOOL SET SOL DSWA01-98-R-0026 POC
Daniel Bertuna, Negotiator, (703) 325-1197, Scott G. Morton,
Contracting Officer, (703) 325-1200 The Defense Special Weapons Agency
(DSWA) has a requirement to provide a standardized framework greatly
increasing efficiency while minimizing warfighter training
requirements. The Integrated Target Planning Tool Set (ITPTS) will
expedite cross service weaponeering and joint planning. The work will
develop a framework that will integrate new and existing weaponeering,
damage assessment, and collateral effects tools and provides the
warfighter a common look and feel among all tools as well as inter-tool
inter-operability. The ITPTS will provide the warfighter with guidance
in tool selection and their use based on target characteristics,
intelligence and time available. The work will provide geographically
distributed weaponeers across multiple services and allies access to
the suite of planning tools. The ITPTS will be compatible with the
Global Command and Control System (GCCS) and other services' planning
tools while usable on a wide range of platforms from PC class to large
work stations. This procurement will be a one hundred percent small
business set-aside. See Note 1. The solicitation for this effort will
be issued on or about 20 Apr 98. All requests for copies of the
solicitation must be submitted in writing to HQDSWA, to the attention
of Daniel Bertuna, 6801 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, VA 22310-3398 or to

released, can be obtained by calling the DSWA Hotline at (703)
